Elliana Allon is a photographer from Winnipeg and she specializes in childbirth photography.
In the past she was a nurse, then in 2015 she became a full-time photographer, and a year later - an on-call birth photographer. She takes pictures not only of childbirth but also of pregnant women.
Besides that, she specializes in labour and boudoir photography.
Allon said that she is guided not so much by photography as by the technique and principles of the fine arts. The photographer gets particular inspiration from the Renaissance.
In her works, you can see women before, during and after childbirth. She captures so many important moments between the mother and her baby.
Allon is not just an observer. She, along with women, feels compassion, pain and, ultimately, incredible joy and happiness.
At the moment, Elliana has already photographed 25 women giving birth to their babies and she hopes to create a special art form that will illuminate the women’s world and their essence from a new side.
Now, Allon is looking for a publisher to create a book with her photos and she feels hopeful to see her works in famous world galleries.
