Rumor has it the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are bidding to host an NFL exhibition game. The spectacle would take place in mid-August during week three of the pre-season schedule.
The Blue Bombers and Investors Group Field hosted FIFA Women’s World Cup games in 2015, as well as major entertainment events like Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, and AC/DC concerts.
Recently the Bomber`s management announced few new players joining the team. January 7th that star kicker Medlock – named the Most Outstanding Special Teams Player in each of his three seasons as a Bomber – has agreed to a two-year contract extension.
As well as a one-year contract extension signed with a Winnipegger Thomas Miles. Miles, 26, is a former member of the Manitoba Bisons. The linebacker joined the Bombers as a free agent in 2017 and has appeared in all 36 regular season games since his arrival.
Also, the all-star linebacker Adam Bighill has signed a three-year deal to remain with the team. Adam Bighill had a great 2018 season for the Blue Bombers and was named the CFL’s Outstanding Defensive Player.
We all hope a star-kicker will bring all the luck to our team and show only the best results playing for Blue Bombers this upcoming season.
