The Blue Bombers just announced a one-year contract extension signed with a Winnipegger Thomas Miles. Miles, 26, is a former member of the Manitoba Bisons. The linebacker joined the Bombers as a free agent in 2017 and has appeared in all 36 regular season games since his arrival.
The Blue Bombers managed to sign Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive lineman Willie Jefferson, who was a thorn in the club’s side last season.
Jefferson finished tied for fifth in the CFL in sacks, with 10 in the 2018 season. But the 28-year-old also had two interceptions for touchdowns and a pair of forced fumbles.
The team management believes, he will be a great addition and will show good performance and teamwork. All of this will bring our team closer to the first place and the best NFL team trophy.
Also, Bighill stays with a team! We all hope a star-kicker will bring all the luck to our team and show only the best results playing for Blue Bombers this upcoming season.
