Winnipeg road construction continues with more great projects to help with constantly increasing city traffic. Everyday driving through the downtown town is a lottery, will you get home in one hour or in three hours, tired, angry and late for dinner. In January this year by the city`s authorities was announced a list of road construction projects in Winnipeg. Most of such works were already finished, but still, there is a big number of the projects are still in progress or coming in different areas of the city.
As shown in the photo the road construction is in process on Waverley Street. The idea is to build the road going under the railway to let the traffic come through without stopping to let the trains pass. This project will not only improve traffic flow but will also enhance safety, mobility and capacity as well as active transportation within the project area. As of now, there is no information released about the cost of the Waverley road construction project cost. Also, there is no timeline set, so we do not have the information on how long will the project take and when the road will be opened for motor vehicles.
The city authorities hope for understanding from the citizens as all of these construction projects are carried out to improve the city`s infrastructure and driving efficiency.
