A lot of accidents on the road happened because drivers are in a hurry, distracted or simply intentionally do not follow the rules and regulations. Every year, about 421,000 people are injured in crashes that have involved a driver who was distracted in some way. Over 78% of all distracted drivers are distracted because they have been texting while driving.
On Friday, October 12th the accident happened on Taylor Avenue, a vehicle from the upcoming traffic collided with a vehicle coming into the lane. As shown in the photo, a few Winnipeg Fire Department units arrived at the scene as well as the emergency services team. The driver from one of the vehicles was badly injured, paramedics treated his wounds at the location and later he was delivered to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
