Winnipeg became the second city that ever received an award from the International Festivals and Events Association.

This event shows that Winnipeg is the number one city in holding various world-class cultural events.Economic Development Winnipeg’s president stated that she is very proud of the city and not it is officially one of the best cultural places in Canada.
The 63rd annual award ceremony took place on Monday, October 1. The ceremony took place in San Diego, California.
All residents of the city consider this victory deserved, and the city authorities congratulate Winnipeg on the award.
