The Manitoba authorities are concerned: the number of children that are in the welfare system has significantly decreased.
The statistics are disappointing - the decreasing is more than 3%.
Families Minister informed that the government increased all possible help to families with children and tried to change the situation for the better not to make the indicators decrease even more in comparison to March 2018.
State programs aim at giving help to families and increasing the desire of children to stay at home. Sometimes even the provision of routine assistance can significantly change the situation for the better and prevent arrests.
At the moment, Manitoba is the province number one among all provinces to help children in communities.
