All developers can become part of a new affordable housing. Market Lands site is open for construction and is consideringEOIs from non-profit housing developers.
More than 100 flats and a huge cultural hub on the first floor will be in Winnipeg’s Exchange District. CEO of CentreVenture informed that the company is working hard to make the Market Lands a reality for a lot of residents of the city. So, it is looking for new developers that share its views and have common goals for this project in the future.
First of all, the company wants to make this site affordable for people of different income levels.In addition to living quarters, the company plans to create a shopping center that will unite the suppliers of food and other goods under one roof.
The whole site covers an area of 2.4-acre. About 650 square metres will be allocated for the public market.
The construction of this project is planned for 2020, but its design will already be known at the end of 2018.
