On August 30th a scary crash happened in Winnipeg, which sent two pedestrians to a nearby hospital. Police are still looking for witnesses of the accident or a possible dash cam video from one of the driving by vehicles.
On Thursday night, approximately 9-10 p.m. police officers responded to a call about an accident on Santa Fe Drive. Two people were hit by a vehicle and rushed to a hospital, both victims still remain in the hospital under a doctor’s supervision.
Officers worked at the scene to collect the evidence and investigation is still ongoing, so no official statement or comments yet available until their work is over. So far nobody came forward as a witness of the accident, no information on the vehicle or a driver. Also, no surveillance footage is available, no exterior security cameras were installed on or around that intersection.
Winnipeg police are asking for a public assistance and help with any information about the details of the crash or the info about the vehicle to help identify and locate the driver who was behind the wheel at the moment and caused the accident.
