A missing person is always a tragedy for the family and friends. People have no rest, can’t sleep peacefully, when a family member is not at home and safe. Missing person cases involve people of any age who are lost or abducted, have run away or have mental health issues, among other things.
Police have issued a Silver Alert for the man, Walter Schellenberg. An 81-year-old man was last seen Wednesday morning at a Canadian Tire on Regent Avenue. He is described as being six feet tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and police say he may also be wearing a black or blue jacket.
Thankfully, at 6:30 p.m. police said Schellenberg had been safely located.
