Manitoba has closed 15 schools due to online threats

On Monday, December 3rd in Manitoba 15 schools were closed due to Internet threats.

It is noted that on Sunday night, one of the schools received threats on the Internet. The police conducted an investigation and detained one person. But then another threat appeared.

“Late at night, the second threat appeared on social networks. Police made two additional arrests and continue to investigate. To guarantee the safety of students and staff, all schools will remain closed on Monday,” the report said on the school's association website, which includes 15 educational institutions located near the provincial capital, Winnipeg.

The nature of the threats, the suspects’ identities, and the arrested person name have not yet been disclosed. This was reported on the website of the school union Lord Selkirk in Manitoba.
