A new company helps teenagers if their photos are distributed on the Internet.
The Canadian Centre for Child Protection together with Winnipeg Police decided to create a new program that can help teenagers understand what to do if they see that their intimate photos are distributed on the Internet without their permission.
Nowadays, too many teens can face such a problem, and they do not know where to turn and what to do.
The representative of the Canadian Centre reported that they would like to say to the children not to show their private photos to other people, but unfortunately, this does not help. It happens very often that such a situation is out of control.
According to the legislation of Canada, no one has the right to share intimate images of another person without his permission. The Canadian Centre for Child Protection is the institution that helps the residents of the province to get advice and to solve such a problem.
The city police will visit schools and will communicate with adolescents. They need to know that they are not alone and they can find help.
All teens who would like to share their story can write on cybertip.ca/intimateimages.
