The province of Nova Scotia introduces a program on Priority Professions in the Labor Market.
In early August, the Atlantic province of Nova Scotia also made an addition to their list of immigration routes associated with the Express Entry, by creating its own program on Priority Professions on the Labor Market. This new program allows the Immigration office in Nova Scotia to identify candidates in the Express Entry who fit the "list of missing workers in the labor market" to invite them to apply for a provincial nomination.
The Immigration Administration in Nova Scotia opened this new program on August 8, when sent "Letters of Interest to Apply" for 314 candidates who have at least two years of work experience as educators and nurses in kindergartens (NOC4214).
"Attraction and retention of skilled workers will help to expand access to important services, such as education in early childhood, as well as help the growth of our population, "- said a representative of the Office of Immigration in Nova Scotia. "This will strengthen our communities and our provincial economy - this is an advantage for all residents of Nova Scotia."
The Priority Professions program on the Labor Market is "flexible", and the indicated occupations can vary from drawing to drawing, depending on the needs of the Province of Nova Scotia.
In addition to the Priority Professions Program at the Labor Market, in Nova Scotia, there are two more immigration flows that use the system of the federal Express Entry - stream Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry Stream and Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry Stream.
