Only one month remained before the new amendments to the law on the legal use of marijuana come into force.
However, in Manitoba there are still no changes. For example, there are no stores in which cannabis will be sold.
The government of Manitoba chose 4 official marijuana vendors, after a decision on legalization was made. These 4 sellers (Delta 9 Cannabis, National Access Cannabis, Garden Variety and Hiku Brands) will open their doors for all people who are older than 19 and want to buy cannabis.
The problem is that nobody knows where the shops will be situated. Each of the sellers has the right to open 10 stores, but the province has big doubts that all 40 stores will start their work in a month.
Three sellers reported on Monday that by the time the law comes into force, each of them guarantees to open one store. All sellers need to hire experienced salesmen, carry out all necessary checks and equip shops with everything necessary before opening them.
