On Wednesday morning an incident occurred on Main Street, a man was throwing rocks at the bus shelters and passing by vehicles. What appears to be a meaningless attack, could also be linked to other property damages in the city.
Winnipeg police responded to a call approximately 8 a.m. about broken glass in a bus shelter. When arrived at the scene officers found that actually two bus shelters glass walls were smashed. Also, witnesses said, the man tried to hit another bus shack with a piece of metal and were few cars were driving by he started throwing rocks at them, trying to hit windows.
Unfortunately when police arrived man already ran away. Nobody was injured during these senseless attacks on city property and suspect hasn’t been yet identified. Police as asking for public help with any useful information about the incident, possibly one of the vehicles driving in the area had dash cameras, people are asked to come forward to help the investigation.
