New details on the case of sexual abuse at the University: a doctor from the college has lost his license. The name of one of the University professors who was accused of sexual violence is also known to the society.
Winnipeg police reported that they began to investigate the rape case in the summer of 2017 and only in the spring of 2018 they laid charges. University professor named Steve Kirby who is 62-year-old is one of the guilty men.
In the summer of 2017, the professor stopped his work at the university after complaints from six students about sexual abuse. Later he worked in a music college, but he was dismissed as soon as the case of sexual violence was properly publicized.

The victim was a 19-year-old student who told the police that in the period between 2014 and 2017 she was repeatedly subjected to sexual violence.
Last week it became known that other cases of sexual exploitation with the participation of teaching staff are also investigating at the University of Manitoba University. Two more teachers are accused of violating human rights. All charges are brought against 5 members of the teaching staff of the University.
The president of the university will introduce a training program for all teachers, which will cover topics of sexual relations and human rights.
All cases have an increased urgency, as the new year has come and the students have returned to the University.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons also reported that there were similar complaints regarding its professor. The man lost his license for 6 months.
